“An extraordinary experience. In the beginning, it was only myself and Daan, the leader of the herd. As I raised my gaze upon the surroundings, there came a strong sense of connection with the other horses, which made me notice what was going on: burden sharing among the herd. Throughout the Covid times, a heavy load had been put on my two shoulders while being isolated in a foreign country. However, it felt much lighter as, even without words, the horses reacted to the stress and anxiety within, as if they were telling me that I am not alone. It was also lovely that Esha reached out to me and took away more of what was left after my turn. Overall, the workshop exceeded my expectations (which was already very high), and I would definitely spread out the word for our colleagues to join the herd.”
